Other tints were between 2-400 less depending on the quality and level of heat rejectionĢ) 3M Crystalline is claimed to be one of the best performing products, and I put it on my previous car to test it out.
#PHOTOSYNC 75 WINDSHIELD LEGAL WINDOWS#
I paid $800 for crystalline on all windows & windscreen except moonroof. They know its too hot and they know its a stupid rule. Tinting the windscreen and the front side windows is illegal in CA but they don't enforce it. 70 is hardly noticeable and it provides more heat rejection. Never feel the sun coming through the windows anymore The crystalline has been the best add on i've done for a car. You'll also lose the heat rejection benefit, so your car wont remain as cool as it would with tints all around. You can skip the tint on the back, but your car will look stupid and off balance having half the windows tinted with even a slight tint. No eyestrain at all, and glare is reduced at night. I have enlarged pupils and am very sensitive to light, but I haven't needed to wear my sunglasses since getting the tint. I normally don't like tint either, but its got a nice look with bluestone. I got Crystalline 70 on windscreen 40 on the rest. Is 90% good enough for windshield and side windows?Ĥ) I have shades, is there any reason to tint rear windows as well?Ħ) Is it legal in CA to tint windshield and/or front side windows?ħ) Does Spectra Photosync work better for me (= provide more light with same UV/IR/heat reduction)?Ĩ) How about HUD, color distortions and glasses?ĩ) How about Driving Assistance Plus? Is there an option to make a hole where the camera is?ġ0) What is an adequate price tag for the work? Is it true?ģ) I definitely do not want to make my windows darker and/or provide less light, I generally hate tints, but really want some UV/IR/heat protection.
#PHOTOSYNC 75 WINDSHIELD LEGAL INSTALL#
Many state that they do not install anything less than 90% and it's related to law. Guys, I'll probably tint my windows, never did it before, but it's about time.ġ) Providing I'm in Bay Area where do I get my tint installed, any suggestions? I saw couple websites, but no prices.
